Methodology & Trust
How we calculate outage pressure and what the score means.
Signals We Combine
- Technical HTTP/HTTPS checks for direct reachability.
- User reports (down / recovered) from multiple networks.
- External sources such as status feeds, news, and discussion signals.
How Pressure Is Built
Pressure is a practical indicator, not an official provider status. We combine recent user reports and weighted external signal score over the last 24 hours.
More unique networks and stronger external evidence increase confidence. A single source alone is usually not enough for a high-pressure event.
Important Notes
- HTTP 4xx can still indicate reachability (service reachable, request rejected).
- Private/internal targets are blocked for SSRF safety.
- This monitor should be used together with official provider status pages for critical incidents.
